Hello World — Why I Started This Blog
Hello World
Hey there — I'm Ashish Neupane, a Computer Engineering student at Kathmandu University and a software engineer who loves building things that actually work.
Why a Blog?
Over the past few years, I've gone from building line-following robots to training guitar chord classifiers with TensorFlow, to architecting production e-commerce backends with Nest.JS. Along the way, I've learned a lot — and I figured it's time to start sharing.
This blog is where I'll write about:
- Engineering deep-dives — breaking down how I build systems
- AI/ML experiments — from ControlNet explorations to audio classification pipelines
- Developer tools — things I use, things I build, things I wish existed
- Reflections — on startups (DrFish), hackathons (Hult Prize 🇹🇭), and the journey
What I'm Working On
Right now, I'm:
- Interning at ICT Nepal, building Boxsa — a production-grade e-commerce platform
- Exploring compiler design through my SLR(1) SQL parser project
- Experimenting with Stable Diffusion for interior design applications
